Terms of service
Presrina chases overdue business-to-business invoices on your behalf. You pay a share only of money that actually comes in. Your customers always pay you directly. These terms explain the details.
Who we are
These terms are an agreement between your business ("you") and PRESRINA, a sole proprietorship owned by Anand Srinivasan, Udyam-registered micro enterprise UDYAM-KR-19-0065444, Vivek Nagar, Geetha Road, Robertsonpet, KGF, Karnataka 563122, India ("Presrina", "we"). Contact: anand@presrina.com.
The service
Presrina Collect is an accounts receivable service. Using the list of overdue invoices you give us, we send polite payment reminders to your business customers on your behalf, handle routine replies (for example requests for a copy of the invoice or a purchase order number), and report progress to you.
- We act only on invoices you submit and authorise, and only in the name and manner you approve.
- We send reminders in writing (email). We do not make telephone calls, visit premises or use any form of pressure, threat or harassment.
- We stop chasing any invoice that your customer disputes and refer it to you. We never negotiate settlements, discounts or payment plans unless you instruct us in writing.
- We do not take legal action, report to credit agencies, sell or buy debts, or hold money for you.
- Your customers pay you directly into your own account. Presrina never receives, holds or moves money owed to you.
Business invoices only
The service is only for amounts owed by businesses to businesses. You must not submit debts owed by individuals acting for personal, family or household purposes (consumer debts). See our acceptable use policy and collection standards.
Your responsibilities
You confirm that:
- each invoice you submit is genuine, correct and legally due, and you have the right to ask for payment;
- you are entitled to share your customers’ business contact details with us for this purpose, and you have told them, where the law requires, that service providers may contact them on your behalf;
- you will tell us promptly when an invoice is paid, credited, disputed or should no longer be chased;
- you will review and approve the reminder wording before we use it, and any change to it.
Fees
Our fee is the percentage stated in your engagement letter, normally 10% of the amount your customers pay on the invoices you submitted, for payments received after the date you submitted them. If nothing is paid, you owe nothing.
- We send you a statement and an invoice at the end of each month listing every payment the fee is based on.
- Invoices are payable within 14 days, by bank transfer or through Razorpay.
- The fee applies to payments received on submitted invoices while we are engaged and for 30 days after you stop the service, because reminders already sent often lead to later payments.
- If a payment we charged a fee on is later reversed, we refund or credit that fee. See fees and refunds.
- Fees are exclusive of any taxes that apply. We will add them where the law requires.
No guarantee of results
We work carefully to help you get paid, but we cannot guarantee that any customer will pay, or pay by a particular date. Payment decisions belong to your customers.
Data protection and client data
We keep your information and your customers’ information confidential and use it only to provide the service, with the help of the subprocessors listed on our subprocessor register. Our Data Processing Addendum forms part of these terms, and our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data. We can sign a separate mutual NDA on request.
Use of AI
We use AI tools to help draft reminders, sort replies and prepare reports. A person at Presrina reviews the work. We use AI providers under terms that do not allow them to train their models on your data. The providers we use are listed on our subprocessors page.
Ending the service
You can pause or stop the service at any time by email. We may stop the service if you breach these terms, submit invoices that are not genuinely due, or ask us to act unlawfully. When the service ends we stop sending reminders within one business day and delete your customer data as described in the privacy policy.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, our total liability to you for all claims is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim arose, and neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, or loss of profit. You are responsible for, and will cover our reasonable losses arising from, invoices or information you give us that are inaccurate or that you had no right to chase.
Changes
We may update these terms. We will email active clients at least 14 days before a material change takes effect. Fees already agreed in an engagement letter do not change without your written consent.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have jurisdiction, but we will always try to resolve a complaint directly first: write to anand@presrina.com and we will reply within 5 business days.
